Well I know I have been "talking" about doing this for a while but as of yesterday plans finally went into action! I ordered the Stage 2+ heads and a Comp cams cam 218/224 .55/.55 from Super six motorsports. Then again I just spent over $2000 and it will take 4 weeks to get here but once I get the parts installed and tuned....

Wow you guys are my heroes. I want to do a cam/intake/heads but i want to do this with a complete motor rebuild. So...when i get a beater car for winter and garage my pony, this is on my agenda. I saw the owner of super six's g/f in the BOTM section of 5.0 not too long ago. some guys get all the luck i tells ya.

Yeah I wanted to do the full pak but it just was a little too much cash right now. I figure I will just get the heads and cam now and later I will do the intake and rocker arms. The guy I have doing the install and tune said I can re-tune later for a discounted price. Once I get those two and an aluminum driveshaft I will be finished modding...for a little while

from what i was told the intake of the 6er interferes with the GT style brace. I really want to add a brace with the addition of my suspension package.

GT brace is fine, the whole engine takes up less space than the GT - there are no clearance issues. You can use ANY brace (Cobra, GT, etc., ) on the 6.
Try to get one with as few bends and material as possible, though . ..
