Default Exterior Mods For 1994-1998 Mustang

I have noticed one thing about my car that i dont like, it looks too stock on the outside.

i have some ideas on have some outside tweaks, but anyone else give me some ides?

ideas:

black rear deack(i havenbt seen this done on my type of stang, i was thinking on getting the tail light housing black, then paint the space between them black)

new wheels(five spoke, not sure what style)

hood stripes(like this Image:1998-GT.jpg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

head lights

chrome mesh grillie inserts for grille and bumper grillie

my cars front bumper also has a scrape in it, which i will get buffed out, and some of the paint is scratched/cracked in some spots, so shoulc i fix the paint, or get a new paint job, to complemete the black stripes, since blue is a dark color)

any other ideas are welcomed

I like the idea of the black rear deck; ebay sells blacked out lenses. I put in LEDs and enjoy them. Wheels... think about the Cobra wheels in 18 inch diameter (my 20s look a little to DUBbish to me...) +1 on the stripes either with new paint or the old. If on the old paint consider a silver pin stripe to set off the black stripes from your dark blue. What about new spoiler vs. side scoops vs vented front fenders? What about a SVO or superstallion hood?

i have the same car, only red. i put on black rocker stripes and black bumper inserts and it really makes the car. for your blue stang, you should do white rockerstripes from american muscle, you won't be dissapointed!

I have a 98 Yellow GT with those stripes on the hood and the side vents black with the bumper insert stickers. I have just one picture posted of it but there will soon be more. You would happen to know where I could get that stripe kit would you? I have a 96 that I would love to get the same striping on.

Another small mod that is often overlooked but does make a subtle but nice improvement to the Mustang is to cut down your antenna.

This really makes a nice change in overall looks for your Mustang and causes no noticeable reception differences as long as you don't go too extreme. I suggest taking it no lower than the top of your roof. But dropping it down even that far really cleans up the lines of your car.

LOL I was just following since it was brought back from the dead. But I am sure you would agree how a shorter antenna makes a big difference in looks.

Way to go on the mods though. I am sure you are enjoying them a lot.

Torq thrust II rims are the best looking rims for 'stangs. Period. IF you're going for classic don't-screw-with-me attitude, anyway. The rims from the new V6 'stangs would probably look good on 94-98's too. I guess it's all about personal preference weather or not to go the full chrome route
