Question Installing phenolic spacer on 2000 V6 Mustang. What else should I do?

hi,
i am buying a 3/8 phenolic spacer from morana. i know that they aslo sell ported intakes, i was thinking about replacing my stock one with the ported one. what kind of improvement would that be, or should i spend the $225 somplace else.

Ported intake isn't a bad idea but $225 sounds like just the upper intake. If you are going to replace the upper then should do the lower at the same time.

While you have the top of the motor open, you should get the lower and heads too. If money is an issue, then just install the spacer.

The ported and polished heads arn't bad hp per $ but you'll see a bigger difference if you port and plolish your heads. Generally people get all of the bolt-on's first then save and do the heads and intake porting in one package deal ( saves you money on parts and on labor if you cant install it yourself )
