Best clutch and flywheel to buy for 1996 V6 Mustang? Any suggestions?
I think my clutch is slipping....so i'm going to be getting a new clutch. Something streetable but something that'll perform well too. Probably going to replace the flywheel while I'm in there. Any suggestions for either?

I think this may be the time to get a Stage3 clutch in case you get the H/C/I swap for SSM.... Yes, you could purchase an new billet flywheel, but it is costly. Your stock one would be fine if need be. Just get it reground when the clutch goes in.
how's the pedal feel with a stage 3? I'm imagining that it's pretty stiff. I don't want to walk around with one hugely muscular left leg!
This clutch right now is kinda "soft." I want it a little stiffer but not too stiff you know? You have a stage 2 right? how does that feel?
Any particular brand that's good?
I was looking at flywheels online and they run about $300 for steel and $400 for aluminum. If my current flywheel is good, I'll probably just get it machined.

Driveability is fine...... You don't notice a difference as far as stiffness is concerned. It's not like the old clutches where it is hard to push down. A stage3 is no different than your current setup. One suggestion though when installing a new clutch. Spend the extra 10 bucks and replace your rear main seal. Make sure you get a pinion bearing in your clutch kit too.
This would be the first time I'm installing a new clutch and I've heard of the rear main seal being replaced regardless of how old, condition etc. The clutch that's in my car is only about 5 yrs old. It was replaced by the previous owner when I bought it meaning....he probably took a junker and threw it in there. The throwout bearing has been squeaking since then too. I was thinking about getting the Centerforce Dual Force, or going with Zoom. I'll have to do more research on choosing the right kind of clutch.

I just swapped the clucth but I used a GT clutch cause I also swapped the flywheel at the same time.
How was the job? doesn't seem too bad. Maybe 4 or 5 hours if that? Plus I'd have to wait to get the flywheel machined so it might have to sit in the garage overnight.

so if I take it to a machine shop to get it resurfaced will they balance it out for me? i'm assuming they would if they knew any better.
The SPEC aluminum flywheels come to fit the 11" and the 10.5" and they already have the externally balanced weights on it. So you can get the GT clutch componets from a Ford dealer and a SPEC aluminum flywheel and it will bolt up perfectly.

I'm probably going to be getting a new aftermarket clutch as most aftermarket products perform better than OE stuff does. I'll probably get the flywheel that's in there machined....but my financial priorities will be changing in the next few months so I have to think about that. It won't be a while until I get a new clutch now...unless it decides to completely fail on me.
