Pullies will indeed help your power.. If you are planning on throwin down a sound system that's worth blasting, you may want to consider the loss you will get from the pully. If you look around the forums you will be able to find out tons about them, just use the Search feature. I am feeling a little tiny bit lazy right now But check out Steeda and what not. They usually have pretty good parts..

As for installing.. Yes, you can do them yourself.. It is a very simple thing to do, but you do need the right tools.. You will need a pully puller (name?). I just finished doing an engine swap so I am fresh when it comes to memory on all of this but yeah you just take off the belt, which is simple.. All you need to do is pull a pully over haha If that makes sense.... If you have a mechanic or someone around it would help significantly. I haven't seen any special finish.. Only black

have a good estimation on costs, since this summer the major parts are coming, and doing a little engine work before hand couldnt hurt. so how much would they run?(cost wise)

They will probably be around 200 bucks.. Maybe 300.. You may be able to get them cheaper but who knows.. Go for quality!

Man if you have the tools and any basic knowledge of common sense and/or the engine, you can have it done in 20 minutes.. it took a friend of mine and I about 5 minutes to remove it, 10 minutes to throw it back on..

I'm not sure about tuning, I don't believe so

I think you can.. I have one so I don't know haha

If not just run to a local shop and ask if you can use theirs or give them 20 bucks to help.. Make sure you don't just throw your keys down and tell them to do it.. Cause a day later and 150 bucks all they did was put on a new pully haha It will take a few minutes, especially if you go to a mechanic.

You will need a new belt too I believe

I wouldn't go ebay. Look up some Steeda, mac, etc.

Use the Search feature at the top of the Forums, I promise it will help

The 94-98's are externally balanced, so the pulley is around $80. They're cheap compared to the 99'-04's which are around $200 because they come with the balancer. It is 4 bolts for you guys.
