Ive seen many parts and accesories on ebay that are just priced so cheap, one that ive been eyeing is some of the cai`s on there, on most sites they are 100-250$ but the ones on ebay are only about 40-80, i was wondering if this stuff is garbage or worth getting, and if anyone has ever gotten one of those cai`s off there.also has anyone ever had any experience with maaco, if so are they any good? thanks guys
The only thing about e-bay alot of people fail to note is that the products are usually so cheap because they're deffective used ect. thats not to say you'll never find a good deal on there for a legit item. A good example of what im saying is bodykits alot of people sell deffective ones on ebay then you get the front bumper look at it and its right side is flaired out a good 2 inches.
im glad you said that because ive been wanting to get a body kit off there, thanks, and thats an awsome body kit youve got there
I agree it is pretty fly..for a white guy! lol had to rhyme..anyways what is model is your body style and how much did parts alone cost?
btw I personally wouldn't buy a CAI from ebay...Ive heard stories of them breaking or not working properly...but thats just me..

i gotta agree thats a sick body kit. And with shopping on ebay you have to pay very close attention. Make sure they have good feedback and that they have shipping insurance as an option etc. I hear that with alot of intakes bought on ebay the chrome finish just flakes off and the rubber connecters dry rot and corrode so just make sure you know what your getting.
if you're looking to get a CAI, don't go cheap. Never go cheap with parts that could terminally destroy your engine. Quality and knowing the company your buying from is the best idea.
Look at some of the companies that the heavily modded sixxers use, try and use those same companies because they have great feedback and are very reliable!
If your talking about the paint company Maaco I heard they are awful. They say your paint looks worse after you leave them rather than before you go in. Thats just what I've heard. The paint quality is poor and ages quickly. Again these are only things I have heard from reliable sources.

lol no this isn't about maaco but I have to agree even though thats pretty random. I took a 3000gt and a saab turbo there because I needed to throw some paint on to sell em and they turned out horribly. It looked like someone glued sand to the car and spray painted it. Definetely would not recommend maaco and I agree with 98 don't go with ebay for things that are directly related to the life of your vehicle unless they are name brand.
