Default Mustang Happenings Today

Guys and Gals, I thought I would start a thread that we can all blurt out what we did today. When we all help out on a topic, we end up going into another subject in the same thread which may confuse the original poster. I'm just as guilt as the next guy, so why not try something like this? If you want to take something that is
off-topic, you can come over here and talk about it.

I'll start:

I just finished replacing my rear end in my '94 today, which came out of my '01. My '01 now has Tom Jr's rear end, and we're working on Tom Jr's 8.8 rear this weekend. (note: the 99-04 rears are 1 5/8" or so wider than the 94-98's.) Of course this entailed another few hours at the shop tonight having a couple drinks and friends stopping by. I spend more time there than at home. We are contemplating on getting a larger shop with 3 bays and a lift up the road because Tom Jr is now here and we need the room. The 2-bay, 4-5 car shop is getting too small!!!!! My Daughter, Meagan (15), is licking her chops at the '94 for herself for next year. She is dating a guy who has a '95 GT which I have worked on for him several times. Remember the old saying, "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer?" Well, he's really close to me. She is taking a couple tech classes at her high school which includes steering and suspension and climate controls this year. She's pretty much right there with me when work needs to be done, or at least at the shop visiting with friends. I can't wait for her to go down the track for the first time next year. The '94 is scheduled for an alignment on Monday for free as part of her class. I don't think it needs it, but I think she wants to show off her car to her teacher/class.

Okay, anyone else?

Seriously, you should move to michigan. Just listen to Al Gore, in a few more years, the winters won't even be that bad. There's a big open field across the street where they're building more vacant doctors' offices. You could build a bigger shop there.

woke up at 5:30AM, went to school, got out at 12:00PM, dropped the girlie off at her house, headed over to my work to realize that my bosses closed the shop because they went to the SEMA Las Vegas show, went home, and here I am haha

Hey Heavy, are you looking for a carb and fp? I know someone here who has a few of them. I can stop by and see if they do.

Guitar, I would need shops all over the US just to have you guys visit.

SEMA show sounds cool Stanger. I want to go to one someday......

Schwaebz, I'm always looking too......

She is going to help rip out the dash to replace her heater core tonight. It was bypassed for some reason, and I didn't want to hook it up and find out it's leaking. We have an extra one in stock anyway, so it's better just to replace it.

MW, nothing going on in your life??????? Thet all can't be idiots, GM puts out some good cars.....
