Default hitting a deer.

these past few weeks i have had soo many deer almost get hit by me becuse i dont see them due to my lights being extremely yellow and disgusting, i can seriously ride with my brights on (which is what i have to do ) and not one person will flash theirs at me, thats sad, i was wondering where i could get some sweet looking and bright lights for my car so i can see whats in front of me be4 i get right on it.

Yeah, for the first 6 months I could not find my brights, until one day I accidently jerked the handle and they turned off. I drove for 6 months with my brights, and though those were dim. Try Americanmuscle.com, or some other mustang website. Beware, headlights are rather pricey, about 200 bucks and up. You could also get some halogen lights..

The color of halogen lights depend on the color output. 6000k halogen lights are mostly white, with a bit of blue in it, and in my opinion, look the best. Halogens with 8000k or 10000k will appear more blue. Halogens are rather expensive..they run about $250 or so, but they're much more effient than stock bulbs and consume less power. They also provide the best light next to sunlight..

Make sure you turn your brights off when there are other cars around...There is nothing more annoying then someone blinding you when your driving. Try sylvania lights that you local auto store carries. They are 30 bucks for a box with 2 bulbs in it. I've heard good and bad things. They are pretty annoying to other drivers though they seem to always be too bright.

What you can do to lessen the yellowing of the lenses is to take some polish (like Mother's) and try to polish them out. Just watch the applicator turn yellow while you're doing it. Since the lens is plastic, you can polish them. This will make a huge difference in the appearance and light output. No, it won't take them back to like-new but it's a good solution till/if you can get new lenses. If you do get new lenses eventually, stay away from APC lenses, they leak like a showerhead.

I had the same problem with my six and I just replaced the lens with OEM ones. The OEM lens look really good when they are new in my opinion. I think I paid around $100 for both of them.
