Because it's 20 year old technology most people regard as junk.
You're going to have to completely rebuild your engine with forged pieces to use it, and after spening all that cash, you get about as much hp as a 99+ engine, and about the same as a 4.2L engine straight out of an f-150.
If you're going to rebuild and use a Roots blower, you'd be better off with one from or for the 03/04 Cobra, using Super Six's manifold.
