I think my throw out bearing is going, I did have the chirp until you lightly press the clutch.. that seems to be gone, and it seems to have a small winding sound now, and when I have it in neutral, it's fine. when i push the clutch, it sounds like fluid is flowing at a high pressure (just the sound, it isn't fluid, nothing is leaking)..

Is this my "throw out bearing" or my "clutch release bearing"? or are they the same.

i say they are the same thing.and there is a pilot bearing also.

Yes, but most clutch kits include the throw-out and pilot bearings.......

i recommend installing the complete set,clutch,pressure plate,t/o bearing,pilot bearing.good luck.

Replace you rear main seal while you're in there with the tranny dropped. It's only $10.00......
