I'm getting 15 m.p.g. right now in a sixer. I wouldn't mind upgrading to a Z06, and getting better gas milage. The thing that makes that statement not funny, is the fact that the Z06 has a sticker fuel economy of 16 city...

Good point...... I've been driving the '94 for the past couple days because it is better on gas. It's great to put $20.00 in and get almost 4 days out of it.

a sixer getting 16MPG? sounds like somebody needs 2 oxygen sensors and a mass air cleaning out. I get better milage with my '84 LX (CFI 3.8/auto)with the top down.

Oh and why get a fox? gee, cheaper parts, cheaper cars, and you can run any motor from a 2.3L four popper up to a 429/460 cid beast, and run the same K-member can we say EASY?

I'm getting 2 weeks out of $20, now -the Metro's a PITA, but it's cheap . ..

I got better highway mpg out of my 6 than the focus esp at 70mph+.

In the city, though, the focus was better . . .

$20 will get me a little less than a half a tank out here... depending on how well I drive is how long the gas lasts me. I'm also running too rich now so I'm burning gas like crazy. Last time I filled up my car said I had only gone 200 miles and I was almost completely empty! Partially because that period of 200 miles I was usually late so I would be hauling butt to get where I needed to go + the rich mixture situation that needs fixing. 13.3 miles per gallon ain't cutting it for me lol. I'm a gonna take it to be dyno tuned sometime this month.

200 (miles) divided by 15 (gallons) = 13.3 miles per gallon

Last time I checked I was getting somewhere around the range of 22...I want to bring it up a little..thats with me stomping on the gas everywhere I go too..I drive on average 2500-3000 miles a month, but only about 500-1000 of those in the stang..the rest is in the four banger...

the flow through the MAF. I took off the air filter to clean it and I guess by doing so it threw off the air:fuel ratio. So my car is not running correctly again unfortunately... it's pissing me off that I keep having to get tuned...
