i can never tell what my gas milage is, but i get around 250-270 miles outa it


am i running too rich?

Performance: Mass Air System, True Dual exhaust, intake spacer, built jmodded tranny

Mods currently either sitting at home being shipped: Fully ported and polished Heads and intake, 218/224 cam, 4.10 gears with detroit locker, HID kit and Zex kit

yep, ideally you'll want 300-400 miles on one tank. but that's with not going excessive speeds, beating someone off the line, going full throttle at ALL, etc.

I dunno man, that sounds kinda high. You still have a lot of restriction in the heads and intake.

and were is it btw, sine when i swap the engine n stuff, i'll most likely make a trip down there too!

Yes very true..are you planning on getting a split port stanger?

Yo Tex so I remember you posting that your dyno was showing stock numbers even after the cam and head job...did you ever find out why? and are you gonna have the intake ported?

i think imade a decison on what motor im gonna put in, a 4.6 from a 96+ GT, since i dont want to messa round with harder wiring, since of that whole OBD bs/stuff

would have been cool to have a 5.0 though...


but when i do get the swap done, what should i do about badges, since i technically could put on GT badges,(i wont though, it would blend in then)

should i leave the stock ones on, n suprise peple, or get a 4.6/V8/cubic inches badge

o yeah, did u get that figure out tex?

and stanger, numbers man!!, i wanna know

since ull be the other "mock 1" ill have "competion" with

(in a about 2 years time,lol)

I'm debating whether I should, probably not though. I'm just going to fully port and polish my heads and intake, if done right, they can flow better than split ports...

well with the numbers from the dyno today, a stock GT and my car are close. But I'd have the weight advantage on you.

my car = 247BHP and 257BTQ (forgot that torque doesn't get converted to power loss)

GT = 220BHP and 286BTQ

BUT, I still havent slapped on my H/C/I combination yet. So you besta watch out haha
