-Hey i think i'm going to try doing some body work myself to the ol' stang because one of my buddys told me if i got all the stuff right stuff tog. he'd help me...but i need to know what kind of paint to order...Theres a paint code right? I',m assuming i'm going to have to get the base silver,clearcoat,some flex,and some body filler/primer right?

-should i just order it from ford? or is there a cheaper place? I have a 2001 3.8l silver

-Any Idea how much it'd cost me or how much i would need to do a front bumper a side skirt and 2 window louvers

well i got in a wreck and totaled my front bumper and put a crack going all the way along one of my side skirts...it didn't go all the way threw tho so i'm going to pay a prof. to fix the side skirt because i'm assuming it will be cheaper than buying one...then i figure i'll order the aftermarket front bumper and use filler on it and smooth it down then buy the paint and pay my buddy to paint it and put the flex in and everything.

either way it, the paint would have to be blended to the areas not effected by the crash in order for it to look right.

actually , I believe side skirt s come prepainted to code from ford....look up on New Ford Parts - Genuine OEM Replacement
