Default Info on a SCT Racing chip

I was looking at those SCT 4-Bank Eliminator chips at American Muscle and I was wondering if anybody knows anything about them.

Thanks

A tuner is a better call because of its' programmability/reusability........

the reason a handheld tuner is better is because it can grow with you per say as you get mods. A chip canjust hold a certain amount of tunes and that's all she wrote...

f the only thing you will have is a CAI? Then no you don't need a tuner OR a chip. The computer will compensate just fine for the increased airflow.... That's the mafs job.

So, I guess what everyone is trying to say is that if you are just putting a CAI in your car then a chip would be sort of a waste of cash....but, if you want it to get rid of the limiter then I guess it wouldn't be a total loss. I would still recommend a hand held tuner just for the flexibility of it as opposed to the chip....but it's your car at the end of the day and these are just suggestions.

What about them?
Why are you so bent on buying a 'chip'?

i guess y'all are right it would give me more flexibility since i will probably change rim sizes in all so i guess either a sct x2/x3 tuner would work

thnks alot
