Default Need help with something guys

I was wondering if this chip would be good for my car because the only mod. that i plan on doing to my car is buying a BBK CAI. I would think i would need a tuner for just this......need help

Naw, you don't need a chip or a 'tuner.' Don't cut your car's computer short! There are plenty of mods you can do without touching the computer/ECM.

Yes but thats the only mod i plan on doing to the car and besides, i getting rid of the car in about a year anyway and plus it has nearly 150,000 miles on it

I think you'd be fine without the tuner if that's the only mod you will be doing to your car...the cars computer should adjust accordingly once you install the CAI.

Because i have heard that it gives you better performace for one thing....plus, i know a couple people that put a chip in their car (not mustang owners) and it boosted them quite a bit in the hp and tourqe range

or would it be better to get a Diablosport tuner so i can eliminate the speed limiter and keep the rev limiter? because my main goal is to go faster

Because you might as well get the x2/x3 instead of just buying a chip, gives you more options if you ever change gears,tire size, get rid of the rear o2 sensors, etc.

Also, If your goal is to go faster you may want to look into better tires, bigger brakes, suspension mods, and of course MORE power.

Nothing unless you don't have rear 02's... Then they need to be turne off so they won't throw codes.
