I just did it with 1/4 in the tank. Did the 1/3 gas, 1/3 oil, and 1/3 brake booster. My car is running smooth as ever! Not a horrible amount of smoke came out like some of the videos, but still plenty to scare my neighbor thinking my car was on fire!
Just seafoamed the stang had a lot of white smoke...prolly for about 10 minutes...TR is good I am going to record mileage on my next fillup..

I think it'll only smoke if you get it in the brake booster which goes to the intake. Makes sense. I did half in oil and half in gas too. I'll do the 1/3 thing next time.

Ya trust it will smoke a lot when you put it in the brake booster...I did 1/3 in each..I'm going to do mine every 5 to10k miles..

I thought seafoaming was for showing off smoke, I never really thought about it actually cleaning all that hooplah.
Any recommendations on which seafoam?
just go to autozone there is only one kind of seafoam..6 bucks..

i seafoamed my 95, and it runs so much smoother, getting excellent gas mileage as well. I definitely will make this a regular maintenance thing twice a year. It smoked like crazy though for at least 15 minutes, the engine is old and probably really dirty. Followed up with an oil change and couldn't be happier with how it runs now.
i seafoamed my 01 v6 a couple yrs ago without doing my homework first...
i did it by myself and just let the vacuum hose suck on the bottle until the engine died. (thats actually what my buddy said to do)
after i let it sit for about 1/2 hr i tried to start it and it wouldnt even turn over... OH CRAPP!!! what did i do??
after a bit of desperation i managed to get it fired up by flooring the throttle and turning the key. the amount of smoke was INSANE... but it ran great after that.
I think ill try 1/2 in oil and 1/2 in vacuum next time. there are much better fuel additives out there for that portion.
yeah you have to watch it with the brake vac. its sucked before you know it. been there done that.cleared up all my problems, after i got it to recrank.
is when the car is in the junk yerd, u can use this stuff forever
I agree, this is only going to help things in your car, used like it's supposed to will never hurt it.

so i was wondering something.. im gonna seafoam my car tomorrow and i was just wondering what happens with the stuff when you put it in the brake booster and gas? i know you have to change your oil ater you do it.. but is that all im gonna have to worry about?
