It works well too , got lifter ticking bad that stuff will fix it , did in my truck . One ounce per quart of oil in crank case , pour rest in your gas tank .
I did one third of the can for each part of the engine. Gas, oil, and intake. You put it in through the brake booster line and its best to have two people so one person can be in the car to keep your RPM up so your car doesn't die while you're putting it in the intake. Let it sit for several minutes, and depending on how dirty the systems are, there will be alot of smoke. Usually on newer cars (Mine is an 03) there won't be much smoke if any. When I did mine there were just a few puffs of smoke and that was it. But an older car with more miles will smoke much more.
Seafoam does alot of things. It helps unsticky those sticky lifters, it'll take water out of your engine, it cleans your injectors, it cleans the gunk out of the intake manifold, gets the carbon out of the exhaust system, and overall will increase throttle response by a noticeable bit. Its a great product and I recommend using it every 5-10,000 miles depending on your driving habits.

So it's great that it cleans out all of this gunk but any idea where it goes?? oil filter?? It sounds like a good product and people usually say good things about it but I'm wary of putting things in my gas and oil.
There's always that question "what if...???"
There's a lot I could lose by plugging up something else with all the **** that's in my motor, ya know?

so a third in your gas, a third in your oil and how do you get the third in you intake? You said in the brake booster line? Where's that? And do you need to do an oil change afterwards to get all that garbage out? I want to do it but at the same time I don't.

1/3 in tank, 1/3 in crank, 1/3 in intake vaccum hose line thing, which is by the master cylinder thing
or u could just pour it all into one spot, i think im just gonna pour some inot my gas tank, let it smoke out, then later change my oil
Does anyone recommend how much gas should be in the car before I put the 1/3 pint in the tank? I'm at about 1/4 tank, so I'm a little iffy putting in seafoam with that few amount of fuel.
