If you don't have a spoiler, I don't think it matters. You just need 4 holes drilled, I'm sure a body shop would do that.

That or you could drill the holes yourself, if you don't want to pay for professional installation.

I replaced a spoiler on my wife's old car with an aftermarket and it went like this:
-Ordered spoiler (making sure the span of the wing was not wider than the car and that the pedestal would fit on the trunk)
-Received primed spoiler with hardware and hole template
-Painted and clear-coated spoiler
-Centered hole pattern and drilled the holes. Make sure you check what you are drilling through! Try to get the holes to go through sheet metal and not supporting ribs by moving hole pattern forward or back.
-Bolted on the spoiler and clear caulked around the pedestals: gave a nice clean finish and prevents leaks.
Good luck - $200 is a good price BTW.

and yes the 2001-04 spoilers will work for your car , and look 100x better! they even have holes under the truck on where to mount them!
