Exclamation help me decide im split cats

you can tell if you have mufflers then u honestly do not lose rear pressure you would be able to tell if you knew you car at all so ya? if u have a different opinion please post not arguing just want to hear other peoples input

i think you only use backpressure if you have to large of piping I could be wrong though. But I know if you go larger than 2.5 inch you will lose backpressure.

are u planning on gutting your catyletic converters, or jut adding pipe. I gutted the back 2 cats and left the front 2. It sounds great. if you want to hear it i have a sound clip in the thread titled "mustang happanings" page 5 or6 (silver car)-low quality movie. It was easy and its sweet no loss in hp just a gain haha let it roar.

if you were to remove all cats , then yes you might not lose HP , but low end torque off the line for sure. You might gain some up top , but your sacrificing way too much down low....
