there is a drain plug on the bottom and a fill plug on the side,they are large plugs you should be able to find easaly.

Your particular tranny takes Dexron ATF. You can use synthetic in it...... You fill it by the top hole until it comes out.

what about using royal purple oil or something...is it any better?

where are these drain and fill plugs exactly because i looked and saw 2 plugs but they wee both in a position to were it would be impossible to get an oil bottle to so you could put oil in it...

Those are them if they are on the passengers side of the tranny. You can buy a pump to pump it up there from wallyworld or the auto parts store. The other way to fill it is from the inside of your car, but you have to remove the shifter.

well my b&m shifter that i installed not to long age has a plug in it so you can add oil without taking out the shifter so thanks...any clue exactly how much the tranny holds

Not sure off the top of my head, 3 quarts sticks out in my mind for some reason. I would still open up the top bolt until it comes out. Better yet, look in your owner's manual.

They say it is, but I don't use it, so it would subjective......

they say if you were to change out to royal purple all around ( tranny , differential , and engine ) that it is dyno proven to add 2-6 hp
