how do you remove the mustang emblem from the grille? i'm thinking about painting it.

there should just be a couple of bolts holding up.. why are you thinking about painting it? what color are you thinking about painting it?

i'm thinking about painting it flat black. just to be different. also i want kinda like a blue/black theme for my mustang

well on the 99+ stangs , you have to take out the grille which is a pita , then remove the pony from the grille thiers like 8 locking washers holding it on. its a real pain to take off. Go with a mach 1 grille delete with a custom painted pony from autobadges.com . check em out!

Autobadges has a bunch of really cool emblems. But they're around $160-$170, but you pay for quality and work I assume. They had one with black flames on it. Pretty sweet.
