I have a dead pedal in my mustang, does this mean that my mustang use to be a 5 speed ? or is this just somthing ford puts in mustangs ?

The dead pedal is basically just a place to rest or brace your foot.

ya, just about every auto car has 1, i use mine as a bass drum pedal when im listening to music in my car
