Default exhaust sounds without 2 of the 4 cats??

has anyone took 2 of the 4 cats off their car and does it make it sound less ricey someone told me that all those cats made it sound like an import

Not to be a goody-two-shoes or anything but don't people consider the effects of removing their catalytic converters? (I'm not directing this at anyone in particular) It just upsets me that people are willing to bypass the consequence of upping greenhouse gases in the atmosphere just for a little rumble. People talk about straight pipes and no cats and putting cats on to pass smog tests then taking them off again...it makes me feel that people are uneducated about the situation or that people don't care. The former can be dealt with as people can always learn but it's the latter that worries me. Just thought I'd put it out there...

I feel true duals with flowmaster 40s and 3 inch tips (that's what I got ) has plenty of rumble. A v6 will never sound like a v8 no matter what you do to it....if you really want the sound of a v8 then get a v8. But otherwise...make lemonade out of lemons instead of trying to make orange juice. (I know, bad analogy but it makes sense )

I sort've get where you analogy is going, but...

I know a V6 can't sound like a V8, but should not the impossible be possible? Maybe even a greater God?

lol...

Not me, but there's this one on youtube entitled, "Best V6 Mustang"

But not only it's pipes and mufflers...that car also had huge engine mods (custom heads, cam, etc...)
