I don't know where you heard that from, but I've gotten mine to hit 120+ as well. And I don't have a rev limiter.

I'm not so sure about my statement, so we'll see what others'll say.

Mustangs have speed limiters set at 118 or so, I believe. You may have been going 120 on your speedo, but they are not always exact.....

I wouldn't think a stock singleport could hit that speed anyways? Maybe if there was a really long and steep downhill slope.

well i definately got over 120 and it may be that i wasnt and y speedometer was wrong but could it be possible that it was removed because the guy that owned it before me was a mechanic and raced mustangs not that im saying he did it with mine because the the only thing i see that he truely did to the engine is all performance wires but is it possible that he did remove it, oh and it did take a while to go that fast and it was on an interstate on level ground.

not to be a dink... but from most of the posts about limiters and otherthings on the net i see 113 as limited speed.

its possible he removed it, its not like its hard to do..a simple tuner will do it....they put limiters on them so you don't go faster than your engine can handle and blow it..maybe also so people who are immature, such as myself , wont go too fast and kill people

imo if you go faster than your rev limiter you need a speeding ticket.

lol, jk. no its probubly been tuned with a diablo or superchips or something simmilar by the previous owner and never changed back when sold. if you took it to the dealership for repairs they may change it back to factory spec on you so you might want to take care to not let then do that. especially if you like the way it runs tuned, the factory tune will make you cry.
