Default 95 wont roll over or start (replaced solenoid, still dead)

I am having ignition problems.. My car worked fine up until last night.. I stopped to get something at the store, came out, and turned the key.. nothing, not even a sound from the solenoid.. Anywho, hauled the starter off, the solenoid was dead. Replaced it, hooked the starter up direct to the battery, and it worked. Put it back on the car, connected all back up, and now it's the same.. Dead, no noise from the solenoid, no clicks, nothing. It sounds like a bad connection, but I can't figure out where, why, or how.. What can I do? I'm at a buddy's house, and I can't just leave the car here forever, lol.

Any ideas as to what it might be, or what I can do? It's not the battery or anything.

Is it possibly the ignition module? Would this cause such a problem?
