1995 Viper Alarm system and automatic starter causing problems Well, I came to the conclusion that my problems lead to the automatic starter and the Viper alarm system.
I drove to the gas station and shut my car off. Went back to the car, turned the key, and nothing.. completely dead as if I had no starter, solenoid, etc. I changed the solenoid and it didn't fix the problem, but that was before I realized that it's something to do with the IDIOT rigs.. the dreaded automatic starter and viper alarm system.
Why do I think it's one of them? Well, I had the car parked at my buddy's, and then I looked out in his driveway. It was in gear, of course. It was parked close to his house, and when I looked out, it was about 12 feet out of it's original position. I couldn't figure this out, until I realized the battery was dead, and when we tried to jump it, it tried to start itself, in gear, etc.
Well, I went under the dash and found the automatic start, I unplugged that and ******* chucked it across his lawn. The viper alarm system is still up under there, and I can't figure out which one it is.
I was wondering if there's any quick fix to these problems.. I can't figure out why they would just start messing up out of the blue, the remotes are dead, so useless to me (and the automatic starter is 1.5 hours away from me now, I jumped the car and brought it home).
It tried to start itself when I got it home, even with the automatic starter out of the car.. What do I do?!?!?!?! I can't start the car with the key now, and I am going ******* insane.. I've contemplating selling it, beating it with a baseball bat, blowing it up.. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
