I am going to pick up a v-6 automatic tonight with my dolly and I just need to know if i can tow it without harming the engine?
anyone know?

Are you towing with, or towing an AOD equipped vehicle?

You won't harm the engine either way.

You can tow with an AOD if the tow vehicle is rated to pull the weight.

You will damage a towed still-conected AOD transmission, not the engine, if you go more than a few miles at more than low speed. You're much better off putting the drive wheels on a dolly, or disconnecting the driveshaft if the vehicle being towed is equipped with an automatic trans.
