Did you check out the thread at the top of the V6 Tech page titled V6 Bolt ons Rundown? You need to decide what your goals are. You can do simple things like a Cold Air Intake (CAI) and Under Drive Pulleys, True Dual Exhaust, Gears and just keep going.

I have looked at this site V6 Mustang Stuff | V6 Mustang Performance Parts and Accessories quite a bit and I noticed the other night on the home page they show a Sponsored V6 Mustang if you click on that it lists some of the mods they have done to that car.

I have a 96 V6 and I did a set of true dual exhausts with flowmaters and installed a set of gears 3.73's and it helped a lot.

Is your car an automatic or manual??

Gears is where it's at if your looking to be a little more quicker of the line.

For starters...

Free up your air flow with a CAI and dual exhaust. She'll breathe so well.

Save up some money...

Gears/LSD (Limited-Slip Differential), TUNED. Quick take off on the line, more torque in the rear wheels. Lighter acceleration, she'll feel like a different ride.

Remember to do your research first before buying anything. Modifying a car isn't all about money. The smarter you are with your mods, the wiser you'll spend your cash.

Depending on the shop. I got mine for $350 installed on my sixer. What brand exhaust are you considering?

You can choose between TWO options:

a) Dual exhaust from your Y-Pipe (stock midpipe):

* There are dual exhaust for the Y-Pipe out there in the market, just find the one that best suits you. MagnaFlow, FlowMaster, etc... Youtube them, they'll have a lot of clips on what to expect in sound. All that a muffler shop has to do is bolt on the dual catback exhaust from your Y-Pipe. Add some hangers, and wah-lah! Dual exhaust for your pony.

b) True dual exhaust (Modified Y-Pipe or H/X Pipe):

* When it comes to true dual exhaust, both your exhaust manifolds (headers) will have their own piping straight all the way to the rear of your car. A modified Y-Pipe consist of cutting, and welding. It's like splitting the Y into two separate piping. Still with me?

Man, there is so much to type...when you could easily find your answer here:

http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...r-threads.html

Look through these threads, and you'll figure out what you'll want. It's seems to me, that you're looking to spend at least more than $450+ based on parts and installation.

I'm only 19 man, and gosh...I've reached $1188 on my mods.
