You can swap an 8.8" rear end on your V6, it'll handle 500hp+. Also, with a strong LSD (Limited Slip Differential) you're sure to increase the strenght on your rear end axle.
So far in my V6 enthusiast-ing, I've noticed that there's not a lot of support for the V6. You'll mostly find many performance upgrades for the GTs, Mach1s, and the Cobras...
Though insurance will be cheap for us, when it comes to modifications...you'll really have to dig deeper than everyone else.
