I have a 96 V6 auto. Stock rear end is a 7.5". My stock gears were 2.73's . I went with 3.73 gears and a locking differential. The car is much more fun to drive now. I think it runs about 2200 to 2300 rpms at 75 on the interstate. We did not loose any MPG. Seems like it just put it into a better power range. 4.10's would probably be a bit more fun but the rpms on the highway would start getting high. Just my opinion!!
