Default 1994 V6 Mustang with overdrive problem

Hello
I am a new owner of a 1994 Mustang with a V-6 automatic. I have found a problem with the overdrive. When I get up to highway speeds it will not go into the overdrive. It causes the car to coast rather than continue on. Has anyone had this same problem with the AOD-E?

I have the same problem...when I take off the tranny does not shift into 2nd unless I let off the gas at around 3K rpm's and then give just a little...if I dont do that it will get up to 5K rpm's before it shifts...once it goes into 3rd then it just coasts...and now the O/D light is blinking...I need the same help...
