99 V6 Automate Alarm problem??

Hey all, wondering if maybe you can help me. My gf has a 99 V6 that she bought in FL at Bill Currie (sp?) Ford. When she bought it, she got the dealer to install an alarm - apparently the brand is "Automate."

Alarm stopped working properly (no horn beep, lights flash, etc...) but the dealer in Dallas said they can't do anything about it because it is not a FORD alarm???? I think thats BS, but who knows -
Anyways, you guys know anything about it? have any suggestions? I really appreciate it. Thanks.

If it WAS working, then just stopped, i would wonder if there would be some kind of fuse that blew causing that not to work... Just taking a guess...
