Question 1994 Mustang V6 harmonic balancer swap

Hey everyone,

My harmonic balancer has failed, the gear with the teeth thing on it that is pressed onto the balancer came off. I've still been driving it but not very far usually just to school and back which is 5km. I just went to the local wrecking yard and picked up a balancer for 100$. I know it was a rip but o well no other wrecking yards had it and i needed it. I am hoping that somebody could give me a walk through on how to get the old one off and put the new one on. I have a friend who works at crappy tire and he is getting me the balancer removal tool for tomorrow. I need to know if i have to disassemble the rad and coolant reservoir or if i will have enough room to take the crank pulley off and take the balancer off. Also if there are any other tools i need other than a basic ratchet set. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Chris

Would have to see if the puller fits first, then go from there...

So was the puller small enough or did the radiator have to come out?

The radiator didint have to come off it just took a lot of time to get the new balancer on. the bolts on the crank pulley were all seized. Thanks anyways guys and my bad on my previous comment in this thread. You guys rock im just impatient at times lol.

Was looking through my threads and saw that i never properly informed of the results.
