its all about personal tastes. with the sport tune you get a good combo to start with, then make tweeks here and there if you like. you can run 87 in it, you might have to back the timing off a degree or 2 if you get some ping/knock. mines real good on 91 and i can see no advantage to go with 93 unless i get it dyno tuned with 93 looking to squeeze a few more pony`s out of it. cars differ though and so does gas so some may need to run 93 with the diablos basic sport tune.

On My Tuner Should I Set It At 93 Or 87? Or Just Set It For The Fuel I'm Running?

if you are running 87, set it for 87. if you are running 93, set it for 93. dont set a tune for gas you arent using (i.e. 93 tune using 87 gas) it will make your stang not run very good.

p.s. there is no need to capitalize every letter in each word.

Is there suppose to be a way to change it on the tuner itself for the octane or do you have to take it in all mine says is stock or diablo tune

the stock tune is the one that came with your car. use that to restore it to the original. yea theres no setting for fuel. like i said you can back off the timing a little to make it run ok with 87. just a little trial and error will get you there, i comprimise with 91 and it seems fine, i had backed timing off 2 degrees but have since put it back to where the diablo settings were and its been fine. where i think you might run into trouble is if you got it dyno tuned with the diablo and were running the higher octane at the time, you would have to go back into it and back off the timing to run 87.

It will have a stock tune, and a performance tune on it. Make sure if you are buying it used, that it was unmarried to the car.......

All tuners require the code off of your computer in order to program the car. If you install a tune on your car, and try to tune another one, it will not work. You would have to unload(unmarry) your performance tune and put it back to stock in order to put the performance program on another car. IOW's, they are single use......

Or, you would have to send it back to an SCT/Diablosport dealer so they can change it, but it would cost around $150.00 or so to do it, so bear that in mind when buying a used one......
