Default 3.8L Upgrade Help

Hey all,

I'm new to the forum and I was just wondering if you could help me with a few upgrade questions I have.

I'm looking to get my 2002 V6 up to about GT speed. I was just wondering what upgrades I could get to make around 230 rwhp and 270 rwtq. Preferably, I don't want to replace the heads with aftermarket ones, but I could do a more agressive cam shaft. I don't want to spend a ton of money, so forced induction right now is out of the question.

I already have a few upgrades:
Catted X Pipe
Magnaflow Exhuast
18 Ford Racing wheels
Cooper Zeon 2XS tires
Possibly a tune, because I bought it used.

Thanks for your help.

Yep nitrous is a cheap and effective way to go, but you would need to do some work to your rear end first. A t-lock and gears would be a good start.
