I don't think it will have a very large impact on mileage or performance. I owuln't really worry about it.

Default manifold intake spacer

Would a intake spacer improve my gas mileage while helping my performance or should i avoid this upgrade?

Skip it, it's a waste of money. You have a better chance of loosing mileage or power than gaining anything. Get a Cold Air Intake if you want mileage and power.

WHAT?

Intake manifold spacers for the 94-04 equates to 5RWHP and 7RWTQ and they keep the intake manifolds much cooler. They do a pretty good job if you ask me.

^+1 An intake spacer will provide much more performance than a CAI will...

I think you people are thinking of throttle body spacers, which are pretty worthless. But intake spacers are a good and cheap mod.

They are both great upgrades. Yes, an intake spacer will give u about 5rwhp and thats great considering u can find a good one for about $30 on americanmuscle.com. If you get that and a CAI then u will great improve your hp and mpg since they are to systems that work together. Both are made to get more air into your engine.

Ahh, yea, I'm thinking throttle body spacers. Sorry! TB spacers and the swirl assist whatever things are useless.
