Default 1997 Mustang V6, Cruise Control issue

I have a 97, V6, automatic coupe. For some reason the cruise control is not working. All the wires, in the steering wheel paddles, module, etc seem to be connected properly and are in very good condition. All the fuses associated with the cruise control are in good shape. We can't think of ANY reason that it wouldn't work. An OASIS report was done on the VIN number and there are no recalls issued.
Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If your brake light switch is stuck, the cruise control will not work (this circuit deactivates the cruise control).

Check the cable from the servo to the cruise control and the throttle linkage (driver's side wheel well, remove wheel and plastic shield for access).

Your speed sensor or VSS (located in the tranny) might be bad.
