the H pipe on a V6 sounds WAY better than an X anyway. And yeah 40s are good. I am planning on getting the same setup soon. I would already have it but I wanted AC for my room XD.
h pipe? so basically two pipes running to the back of the car? i was thinking about doing that, they quoted me 350 for an X pipe set up.. or just running two pipes from the cat back with flow masters for 220.

thanx guys you were a lot of help i talked to a forum member at a car show last night and i liked his set up from X pipe with cats and flowmasters.
I orded my X pipe should be here in a week or so.

canceled my X pipe and switched to an H pipe after i heard my co workers H piped 3.8 V6. with cats, and 40 series flowmasters..
saved my self 60 bucks and a better sound..

you have no idea. I just wish i stil had my 92 Drop top stang with my 5.0.....
but hey i got my cold air and H pipe for a 170 bucks.. thats as much as the X pipe would have cost me

told you =P im glad you listened. The X pipe will sound REALLY raspy on a 6. ALSO if you want even a cooler sound comming from your engine get a cam with a mild lope and it will get you some HP too. I plan on doing this myself as well.
