He doesnt even know. he bought it and as far as we a can tell the rear end, alluminum drive shaft, and Vortex muffler

A CAI and Dual exhaust wont make a lick of difference for you. you're not making enough power to even see a difference, the power you're feeling is in your head. sorry to tell you that.
i should also mention that stock v6 mustangs are slowwww. not to mention that also, the 3.9 liter doesn't make more hp than a 3.8.
why would your governer kick in at 80mph?
you're never going to get a v6 to sound like a v8.
^^^^^ people like you i can't stand don't post on a thread if you're not going to give useful advice and if you come back with some crack about heres advice "buy a gt" you're just a moron..............

on that note. He gets me off the line and just keeps walking away from me. I'm just a picture in his review mirror.

The CAI and dual exhaust in fact does make a difference, just nothing compared to their counterpart V8's. Also his governor didn't kick in at 80mph, he was just saying that he kept it close with the GT 25-80mph.

Yeah, he has gears for sure, just gives you more motivation to mod your car You should get 4.10's and t-lok and see how you do.
Yeah, I gotta back up Fobra and 3.9Vert on this one: CAI and dual exhaust will definitely help. I know for the 3.8's, the biggest hurdle is the breathing...
And don't post if you don't have anything useful to add -- or then you, sir, fail... to be any help at all!
Forba, I've heard that for 94-98 V6's that manual tranny's should use 3.73 gears but autos should use 4.10? Is that right? Do you happen to know why? I want to get gears in the future and I want to make sure I know what I'm getting. Thanks in advance

while were on the subject of the 3.8 and 3.9, what is the real difference, Because i looked up in my system at work the CYL heads are different part numbers. Does that mean it breathes differently?

Seriously what he was saying was correct though. CAI and Exhaust really doesn't do much for our cars, I mean at all. All of our restrictions are at the intake manifolds and heads. There's no real restriction at the filter/intake tubing or the exhaust. In reality, buying a GT IS the cheaper way out for power, but, most people don't go farther than bolt-ons with their v6's.

not much because ford gave us terrible flowing heads/intake manifolds. Sadly without digging into the motor you will NOT see large gains.

A lot of what I've heard is based on preference, what they would prefer. Either one will do and work great. I like 3.73's because they are a great all-around gear, which I would prefer but others will say otherwise.
