Default Rear brakes--cannot find this answer

I've done a search through this forum and throughout the web but I cannot come up with any answer! I am in the process of changing out my brake pads and am currently on the rear . . . I have it all back together, caliper in place and ready to go but I am running into one small problem . . . the bolt on the bottom which holds the caliper in place hits the e brake line when screwing it in, therefore not allowing me to get it into place. The brake is off to give as much slack as possible, but I am getting no where. Is there an easier way to get around this besides disconnecting the line at the junction???
