my mustang is having a problem with early up shifting into 3nd gear at blow 20mph. and late shifting from 3 to 2 to 1 when i come to a stop. i checked the vss and vacuum tubes and all have power and are working correctly. I dont know where to go from here please help.

When was the last time your transmission fluid and filter were replaced? When your low on fluid, the fluid is worn out or the filter is dirty and clogged, it causes all kinds of problems. Drain out the old stuff, put in some fresh fluid and a new filter and I bet you'll be back to normal.
