i gettin ready to buy some kind of tuner for my 2003 auto v6. I been reading around and there are many opinions on many different tuners. I am mainly interested in the vmp tuning i have read about. Would some one please elaborate on that.

VMP is an SCT tuner (for Fords). They sell SCT tuners.

They also specialize in dyno tuning, but are quite a distance from Tenn. (located in Florida).

Like many others, they offer tunes in addition to the canned tunes that come with the hardware. If interested I would call them up and discuss your needs. Usually the canned tune is fine for a stock car, but as modifications are added, it gets more complicated.

Typical modified tune price starts at $50-100, though $250 is quite common. This is on TOP of the $400 for the tuner, of course.

I have the Diablo Tunner in mine and she runs like a BEAST....Not to mention I have a lot of other custom Mods. lol
But Diablo did Great for me
