Question 1994 V6 crankshaft question

I have a 94 Mustang with a dead 3.8L. I was going to swap it for a 351W but with the price of gas here running about $6 a gallon I decided to rebuild the V6. My question is: can I use a 97 crank in the 94? Mine is finished and I can get a 97 crank cheap. Any help would be appreciated.

The cranks are the same. But be aware that the cost of a crank is only about $200.00 or so from the dealer. It would be worth it to me to just put in a new one......
