Default may have to replace speedo cluster...

i have checked my bulbs and i have had to replace my computer b/c it was failing to tell my secondary air pump to turn on.

problem with my speedo is my service engine soon light doesn't work. my o/d light doesn't work and my traction control light doesnt work.

my question is.... is my miles stored on the speedo itself or is that stored on the computer... i'd like to get a brand new speedo but if its stored on the speedo the new one would read 0....

Your cars mileage is stored on the gauge cluster itself, not the ECU. Most new (max 2 years old) cars have the mileage stored on the ECU. When you get a new gauge cluster it will read 0 but you're supposed to do the right thing and take it to a dealer/shop for installation. They will download your old clusters info onto the new cluster to maintain the ODO accuracy.
