My question- I want to keep the RAM air but replace the stock air box with the K&N CAI. Together the RAM should now push air straight to the CAI. Will this be an improvement as I think it will? Or could this be a problem? |
Ditch the ram air and put the full K&N CAI setup in instead. Ram air doesn't really benefit you performance wise unless your going fast enough to actually ram air down into the intake manifold. Install the CAI, toss or sell the ram air intake. Now your hood vents will keep your engine compartment a lot cooler, resulting in a more efficient running engine.
