Thumbs up 1998 Mustang 3.8 V6 5 Speed

My Mustang has around 85,000 miles on it and still stock. I would like to know what can be done to it performance wise and maybe sending me some links on where to get those parts. Thanks!

Try http://www.rpmoutlet.com they have some great things for your mustang. But if you want some get up and go, power might not be the best first thoughts. Try gears, you'll move through your gears quicker and feel like you're tons faster and actually will be on take-off. But if it's performance your heart is set on then start small like exhaust(X-Pipe and duals)I went catless but it's illegal. Throttle body spacer and intake spacer would be ok. A nice flash tuner lice an X-Calibrator(look that up)or Diablo Predator. Under drive pulleys and cold air intake is alright. Man just start looking stuff up and look at other forums theres tons of info out there! I hope I helped.

^Throttle body spacers do nothing for the V6....

Something to think about though, Are you looking for more power or to maximize the power you already have. If it were me I would look at Aluminum flywheel and driveshaft and then some gears. The aluminum parts will allow the engine to spin up a lot faster and to put the power to the ground a lot easier. The gears will let the car take off a lot faster. After those maybe look into a CAI and exhaust and then some suspension work and the car will be a lot quicker than stock.
