Default Stock Rearend Size

Does anyone know the size of the stock 2001 V6 rear end? I am thinking about getting gears and possibly t-lok but am unsure about what to get and what size.

It's a medium/husky...lol terrible joke. It's a 7.5"

You could get a 8.8 with the t-lok already in it and put gears for maybe a little bit more money and have a stronger rear end. The 7.5 should be good though also with t-lok.

no mine bolted right in.. It feels alot better than my 7.5 did. Going down the interstate the rearend doesn't seem to float at all compared to my old rearend at high speeds. I got mine with less than 15000 miles on it for 500 and put gears in it and the difference is night and day. You can swap your old brake assembly over to the new rear end also or just buy new parts.
