Does anyone know the correct term for the rubber part that the ac hose attaches to along the firewall? The rubber part is attached to the ac metal "piping" connection on the firewall. I removed it, dropped it in the engine into the vast unknown!!!

is this for the A/C or a vac hose
a pic of the area your talking about might help

I found out it's a coupler that connects the plastic line and the metal line together.
