Default Stock plugs with a Vortech?
Just ordered a Vortech supercharger, planning to install it next weekend and so I'm reading the install manual. It specifies clearly to use new stock plugs but I've always heard you want colder plugs for a SC. Is that manual just spouting some emissions crap that I don't need to listen to? Recommendations? Here is the model I bought: Vortech Engineering: 2005-2006 Mustang V6 4.0L V-2 SQ S-Trim Standard System

I would go at least one step colder if you're running 8psi. The biggest problems people have had with the Vortechs was no intercoolers. You need to get it dynoed anyway......
