ok so i have searched all over the internet and have found nothing on this type of issue.
i have a 2003 v6 mustang, as of a few days ago my brake lights were working correctly.. i noticed tonight that if you step on the brake pedal that the middle and inner section of my drivers side brake light do in fact light up.. but the outter section does not, on the passanger side the inner section that is next to the trunk does not light up but the middle and outter sections do light up..
my blinkers work fine, and when i pull the head light knob out to turn on the headlights/ parking lights. all three bulbs on both sides light up..
here is a picture of jsut the brake pedal being pushed..

sorry for the crappy pics.. but you can see that outter drivers side section does not lite up, and that the inner passanger side section does not light up..
this picture is of just the head light knob pulled out for the nite driving lights..

i tryed switching the bulb from the outter drivers side section to the inner drivers side section and still the same problem.. so i am sure this is not a bulb problem.. and considering how the sections that dont work are different from one side to the other.. it cant be how ford built it.. the only other thing i can think of is a faulty brake light switch.. i tried tapping on the brake light housings, and jiggling the connecters and wiring around to see if there was a short and nothing changed...
i cannot find any other people with this problem or any info on it on the web.. so maybe you guys could help me out with this...
thanks in advance for any and all info
